Overlanding Sticker for Electric Vehicles

Anybody interested in overlanding has probably seen one of these cool Landrover Defenders with a Diesel sticker next to the tank cap, where the word Diesel is translated in many languages. The idea behind it is, if you travel around the world, it reduces the risk of getting the wrong fuel in your tank.

But it is also used by many people who will likely never leave Europe or North America with their car as a statement that they are part of the overlanding community.

Why not do something similar for electric vehicles?

I designed a sticker that can be put on the charging flap with electricity translated into six languages (English, French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, and Arabic).

The sticker has a size of 120mm x 120mm.

It can help to reduce the confusion with electric cars in remote regions where they are still rare.

This is how it looks on my Audi Q8 e-tron.

Yes, I know, it’s mainly a gimmick with limited usage for most people. However, it’s fun and makes a statement on your car, showing that overlanding and electric cars fit perfectly together.

The first 50 people who want to put this sticker on their car will get one for free. In return, I would like to get an image of your car with the sticker on it, which I can post on my blog or Instagram. If you are interested, send me a message using either the contact form here on this website or a DM on Instagram.

    1. Understood and noted. At the moment I have only a black version. If there is enough interest in a white version I will make another version available. Let’s wait a couple of weeks and see how big the interest is.
