In this category, we will take a look at apps that are especially useful for overlanding with electric vehicles.
Currently we are evaluating the following apps:
- MAPS.ME (navigation based on OpenStreetMap data, available for iOS and Android)
- iOverlander (a tool for overlanders, which enables its users to submit, amend, and find information and opinions about places that are essential for the act of overlanding, available for iOS and Android).
- chargEV (map of charging locations, database switchable between GoingElectric GE and Open Charge Map OCM, focus on Europe, available for iOS and Android)
- PlugShare (a crowdsourced map of public, private and residential charging locations, available for iOS and Android)
